Grants and Communications Coordinator for the Development and External Relations Department at the Peres Center for Peace & Innovation<\/p>\n
Qualifications:
\n\u2022 Native English speaker \u2013 a must!
\n\u2022 Verbal and written proficiency in Hebrew
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree. Preference for relevant fields (international relations, political science, conflict resolution, etc.)
\n\u2022 Minimum of one year experience in grant writing and non-profit fundraising.
\n\u2022 Experience working in deadline-driven environments.
\n\u2022 Identification with the values of the organization.<\/p>\n
Major Responsibilities:
\n\u2022 Reports to and works closely with the Deputy Director General for Development and External Relations.
\n\u2022 Responsible for conducting the full range of activities required to prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals to a variety of funders.
\n\u2022 Writing reports, letters, updates and various other communications.
\n\u2022 Perform prospect research on funding opportunities to evaluate prospects for grants.
\n\u2022 Work with finance to gather information necessary to draft budgets and report to funders on current programs.
\n\u2022 Understanding of institutional history and programs.
\n\u2022 Representing the Peres Center and its work in front of a wide variety of audiences, including leading tours and meetings with local and international visitors.
\n\u2022 Maintain current records, including grant tracking and reporting.
\n\u2022 Work with Development and External Relations team to provide development input for all written institutional materials.
\n\u2022 Assist with all fundraising and external relations projects as requested.
\nKnowledge and Skills:
\n\u2022 Excellent written communication skills; ability to write clear, structured, articulate, and persuasive proposals and reports.
\n\u2022 Excellent editing skills and attention to detail.
\n\u2022 Excellent oral communication skills, in both English and Hebrew.
\n\u2022 Ability to speak in front of various audiences and present content in English and Hebrew.
\n\u2022 Able to work well in a team environment, handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
\n\u2022 Excellent interpersonal skills.
\n\u2022 Knowledge of fundraising information sources.
\n\u2022 Experience with proposal writing and various types of donors (foundations, corporations, foreign government entities, etc).
